Salim was born, and raised, in West Michigan. With over 6 years of wedding planning experience, he has planned over 500 weddings. What started as a Summer job carrying, and setting up decor led Salim to pursue his first business, My Barefoot Wedding. Salim sold this business in 2023 and moved to the Grand Rapids area where he launched Michigan Outdoor Wedding Company.
